Well, looks like someone just registered - "johnphone", who then put up on the Marketplace forum a bunch of what appears to be cellphone etc, stuff for sale. Looks like SPAM to me.

Definitely not related to the Roman, Greek or other ancient-related marketplace items. I wouldn't even consider it an "off topic" marketplace item. Looks too much like what I get on the work computer that I then have to spend some time deleting!

Possibly, but please keep this thread limited to actual cases of spam. Many bots try to sign up, but usually do not activate their accounts. In such cases, they are deleted within a week. Actual cases of spam need immediate action.
