My question regarding the provocators was because we found no evidence that any of the shield that were used in the arena had 2 handles(levers) as 1 for your palm and another 1 where you can place your arm into, like hoplite shields. All we found looks more like scutum style shilds. Only one handle(lever)
I wish to fight with shield with two handles, as it is much better. So that is why I asked it. I would like to find an evidence that some kind of shield with 2 handles are authentic.
