Excellent. With some friends from Comitatus I did a photo shoot last weekend for a forthcoming new book by Timothy, and I suddenly find myself drawn to all things Byzantine. I spent most of the photo shoot in funny hats, showing off hose, playing a drunk, type cast once again. But now I have plans .....
I think that while you always could buy Greek kit "off the shelf" if you knew where to go, now there is more of it and it is to a better standard. "Off the shelf" Roman kit has improved massively over the past five years, and I'm sure Greek and Hellenistic equipment will follow.
