In my recent trip to Constantinople I found great kilims. I bought an old natural black goat wool kilim, with the goat hair left long on the one side, resembling fur. I had in mind my potential Thracian Impression and although I found some colourful ones, I was impressed by this piece. Since I have not even started a Thracian impression yet, here's a hoplite trying to protect himself from the frozen thracian wind(without proper shoes,I don't even dare take outdoor shots, with the snow on the hills...)

Kallimachos, about those blankets...I certainly recomend Turkish kilims for the Thracians of your group. With a bit of patience and some money in your pocket you may find splendid "Thracian" cloaks. I had less than three days in Istambul, and I'm lucky i found those shops with new and old kilims.Next time I may buy more.
