It may look a little different but it is not re-shaped. The petasos takes on different shapes depending on how tightly I tie it, or position the ties.

You will laugh at this but we are having what passes for hot weather at present. Some areas even have what we define as drought conditions. The petasos makes a very sensible sun hat and everyone was jelous.
