Spathae question

Hi...can someone give me a link where I can learn a bit more about different versions of the spatha? I'd like to know how to tell a cav from an inf spatha and know the dif in different timeperiodes.

do you have a link or a book where I can lean more about the development of the spatha?

the books I have all tell about the development of the gladius and the spatha as cavalry weapon but as far as I heard there are some differences between the later infantry version and the cavalry versions.
