Astrodeodetic dating
#1
Dear Colleagues,

Could an astrogeodetic dating be possible for a monument such as Kbor Klib in Tunisia?

I believe that the Kbor Klib monument in Tunisia is orientated to the sunset of the 2nd of September and possibly dates from around172-150 BC when the area came under Massinissa`s control.
I think that an astrodeodetic dating might narrow down this period to within 15 years or so, but I`d like to know if this could be technically feasible with a structure which is itself so shallow.
The altar which stood infront of the monument on its western side might add more length to the central axis, but even this is no great distance, so I`d greatly appreciate any assistance that authorities in the field of astrodeodetics can provide.

Sincere thanks to all in advance for your time in considering my request.

Michael Collins.
