It has similarities with the somewhat heterogenous group of the Hellenistic Attic-Boiotian Type helmets.
The broad brim - especially when it has folds - is typical for the Boiotian Type and the peak/gable on the front (mostly with side volutes) stands for the Attic family. IMO the most similar real specimen would be the helmet in Hamburg (said to be from South-Italy and dated 1st C. BC) which could have been a military as well as gladiatorial piece of armour. I'm not 100% sure, but that looks like one of those unique Ferran Garreta helmets.

[attachment=12560]Untitled02.jpg[/attachment] The translated description says "Helmet Roman official . Brass and chrome plated brass . Second century B.C." Perhaps if you contact them they will provide further information. They make some interesting stuff, although I prefer bronze to brass.
