Hi all!
We had a great event, good weather, and all!
The event is growing, this time there were
6 Hallstatt impressions (Germany), 2 early LaTéne impressions(Germany), 5 Thracians (3 from Austria, 2 from Germany), 1 Cretan Archer, 1Greek Hoplite, 1Greek slinger, 2 Macedonians, 1 Early Roman (5th c. BCE) (all from Germany), a couple of "celtic" puppet players (Switzerland), and a "celtic" family(Germany). Saturday evening I prepared lambs leg with date-sauce for the participants, and we had a nice party around the camp fire later on.
As "shows" we had a display of a Greek caravan travelling to the Heuneburg, underway attacked by some Thracians and a Greek field-offering ceremony to Ares and Athena.
It was a lot of fun and we are preparing for next year. Ideas and more participants are very welcome!
