Hello, Big Grin wink:
He who desires peace ,let him prepare for war. He who wants victory, let him train soldiers diligently. No one dares challenge or harm one who he realises will win if he fights. Vegetius, Epitome 3, 1st Century Legionary Thomas Razem

No need to... KOMITH THITH DRENGIR could have been a common battle cry for vikings meaning COME ON BOYS!

As I studied Norwegian for a couple of years, it has been funny for me to welcome a Norwegian member to RAT.

Sorry, I don't want to be out of topic anymore...

Hei Ivan.

SÃ¥ kult at du har studert norsk.
La oss skrive her på norsk så de andre ikke forstår, bare for å plage dem.
Også tror de at vi konspirerer og legger skumle planer.

Hi all, I've just joined today, I'm actually interested in armour and weapons generally from 3000 BC to 1650 AD. I have a particular interest in the Ancient Egyptians, because my father is Egyptian. In case you're wondering my avatar is a 2nd century BC "Romanised" Ptolemaic infantryman.
Regards,

Hisham

Welcome Nectanebo, Big Grin
Egypt is the place where incredible items from the Roman period are preserved, while they have long ago rotten away and dissolved at other places!
