Quote:Alex is too modest to say it, but he did all this in a very short time -- on the order of 6 months or so. The longest piece was the scutum -- which was beyond his control. Yes thats realy impressif! Congratulations Alex! Looks good!

Like the new version of the Theilenhoffen. Certainly looks better than the first.
You guys look pretty impressive there!

Wow, looks gorgeous! Adrian, is your helmet the "improved" version of the Theilenhofen one?

Thanks guys!
Yes Jyrki it is. It was sent over just days before the event! Quote:Wow, looks gorgeous! Adrian The kit or the beard??!

Adrian,
Nice Kit. I like your squamata. The manica is also very nice. However, I would think that a brass manica would stand out more based on the colors you are using for your tunic. Just my opinion not a crtisizm.

Myself at Lunt, after the rain stopped. Sloppy kit, so my apologies! (Thanks Savrus)

Quote:Adrian, I actually quite like how the color matches with the right (his left) sleeve of his undertunic, not sure if he did that intentionally. There is a nice mix of 'silver' and 'gold' in his kit, including the helmet. Expertly done I think.

I have more than one colour of undertunic
I just prefer a steel manica. Otherwise it would be just too much brass! |
