Jef those are some great shots. It's clear he used an HDR effect in Photoshop or a similar program. Either way they are fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

But I believe you have to use a fairly advanced camera and the right settings to maximise the effects and get a good raw image to start with, no?

It helps if you have a good composition and subject matter :grin: but it can be done to any photo taken from even a cheap camera. I'm somewhat of an amateur photographer and HDR makes average pictures look amazing (if that is the effect you are going for). You can see the effect of HDR in my pictures below:
