The given things are done not by me, they are done by our masters. We conduct information search and we specify projects of details.

Nice work Ade. Your right, it does look a lot like mine by Erik.

See you at Corbridge folks.

Finally my hands allowed me to work some more again. Just finished the buckle plate (buckle from DSC/Armamentaria) and riveted it to the belt, so I can finally wear it. Rest of the plates will be finished and added during this and next week (so it will be ready at Corbridge), so stay tuned. Okay, my skills still need some improvement, but I'm happy with it as it (as they are hand made and not cast)

I used bellcaps to attach the beltplates to the belt, with the excellent guidance from Brian Stobbs. Thanks Brian!

It looks realy good Jurien! It also looks like a lot of work.
The embossing I would like to do one time myself, is it difficult?

Hi Folkert,

No, I don't think it's that hard. Having seen your woodworking skills you can handle tools and have a steady hand, so you must be able to do this kind of work. I used the perfect tutorial by Cezar as an inspiration for these plates. Although not all plates are perfectly straight everyone I do is better and I only disliked 3 of the (which I trew away) and I'm now able to do a plate in about 25 minutes. (if my hands allow me to work in one go).

If you want to look how I do it, you are always nice to come over to Nijmegen and watch me and try it yourself (don't know if you've the right tools)

Sure it was. Without it I don't know if I had started to make the plates myself.
