Welcome!
I´ve been just two weeks here and I had learn a lot!
-This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how
sheep´s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

I'm coming out of lurking, be gentle!...

Originally a fan of the umm.. "aesthetics" of TV/film Romans  I thought I'd engage my brain and actually learn some stuff too. Enjoyed skimming through some threads so far even if I don't understand much of it!

So, hello! Big Grin

Cool! I must've passed through there several times whilst on holiday (I've been staying in Frome, Shaftesbury, Glastonbury, Westbury, Salisbury and surroundings.) Big Grin

It is a lovely area, I grew up in the South East until I reached 18 and escaped!

Mere is pretty although not much to see here, the selling point is it *used* to have a castle

Welcome to RAT, Kat, and everyone else! Been lurking too much myself recently, instead of welcoming new members and contributing. Oh well, it's in a good cause. Working on my kit, learning more and knowing less Big Grin

Hello everyone! My name is Wil.

I'm a former US Marine, a lover of all things Roman. I've had a long time fascination with Roman culture. I am an obssessive Total War player (Rome and MTW2) and I just completed assembling a full legionnaire costume.

I look forward to pooring over the knowledge in this forum and am excited to have found a place with fellow Roman enthusiasts!
