Marcus,
Length is the problem with the deepeeka helmets. My US hat size is 7 5/8. I measure 24 1/8" (61.27 cm) circumference, 8 5/16 (21.2 cm) length and 6 7/16 (16.35 cm) width. The helmet allows for no padding fore and rear. I have broken an H and G trying to get them to fit. Will custom order next helm from an armorer.
Titus
Thanks for the kind words...the braccae I ordered from La Wren's nest...am altering the cuffs as we speak! Plan on making a leather set next.

A armorer is ever the better choice as deepeeka. I get a wonderfull Coolus-D from Nijmegen from Frisius-F, for wonderfull 5oo euro! Except you have a little, round alien-head

Marcus,
I agree...it's just a shame that a popular hat size requires a $1200 USD investment rather than $180 USD.
I do wish Deekeeka would increase their size range.

Another nice picture!
The problem is that deepeeka can not increase their size range. If they do that the helmets will be okay lengthwise, but even wider! They press the bowls and due to this fact, I was told, they are limited to fairly round bowls.
Take a look at the available, and soon to be available, Daniyal Steelcrafts helmets. They are much better in size. About 1cm narrower and about 2cm longer.

The Carnuntum helmet is quite narrow.

Nice pictures!
You seem to have a lot of Scottish links on the picture Website.
Are you up here at all?

Great pictures and beautiful surroundings.

It's 22cmx18cm I believe. Much better than 21cmx19cm.

True, but I won't go into details....
Once I get a proper liner finished, it will be great, I have only been wearing it with a winter hat up till now! Mind you, 22 x 18-1/2 would be
perfect!!

Please try to discuss Deepeeka helmet bowl sizes in the appropriate thread and keep this thread for images. Thanks!
