SotW Quality in Europe - Where/who?

Hello all I'm looking for a few items that need to be of good quality like those of SotW, but from an European seller.

Mostly the helmets and Hamata from Republican period. Can any of you point me in the right direction?

I suggest you have a look at https://www.armamentaria.com/store/ I believe them to be at least as good as SOTW. Adrian Wink, the guy running this webstore, is a seasoned re-enactor and strives towards good products with a reasonable to high degree of authenticity. He can also advise you on what is best fitting for your impression.

SotW is very high quality for Late Republic/Principate and early Dominate, but for Late Antquity it drops off IMO.

But Armamentaria and SOTW are rather on Par with each other, the former being drastically better in Late Roman.

I thought they mainly do India replica's, or am I missing something? SotW is indeed the best US based shop for DPK, DSC and Al-hammd stuff, but that isn't always high quality. For soft kit I think La WrensNest is better.

I prefer to make my own, and for "soft kit" as it's called medeival design seems to be the best.

Medieval Design is excellent for the late roman kit. I can do similar, but it would be far more expensive than the prices for the late roman kit they are offering as all the fabric is British sourced, British made and comes with my own assurance of a fully or partially hand stitched quality product.
