I've got some mates working on King Kong down in New Zealand. Here's a whole bunch of stills from the film - very very nice, and Kong is entirely cgi:

Looks like it will be a good remake.....the original still makes me sad.
I heard they were going to incorporate some shots of Fay Wray a while back, is that still the case?
Listed for release on 16th December and 'coming soon' to our local cinema....!
The other films I have earmarked for watching right now are... Narnia, The Brothers Grimm, which hopefully I will get to see tomorrow or will miss, although it seems the DVD will be out in a couple of weeks (love that armour

filming The Silmarillion would be very difficult as it is not a story but rather a collection of. But the siege of Gondolin would be nice - all those balrogs and dragons :lol:
