Top bit of top hattage PP Re: Primvs Pavlvs presentation discussion - Et tu brute - 07-13-2007 As did I, lovely work Re: Primvs Pavlvs presentation discussion - Gaivs Antonivs Satvrninvs - 07-13-2007 Looks great. Laudes. Re: Primvs Pavlvs presentation discussion - Robert Vermaat - 07-13-2007 Brilliant. And just in time for Xanten 2009. Re: Primvs Pavlvs presentation discussion - Peroni - 01-14-2008 Although Paul has used the Coolus C pattern cheek guards from Schaan, it does not detract from the great reconstruction of the bowl itself, which was basis of the reconstruction. The two cheek guards are after all very similar - the Xanten cheek guard having no raised 'cusps' and a tie ring fastener. If Paul had used the contemporary Xanten cheek guards it would have made it the perfect Xanten helmet! Still one of the best Coolus helmets I've seen in a long while.
