Re: Country and State flags - Carus Andiae - 08-03-2006

Hooray! RAT is now of the few Internet sites that recognise that the Channel Islands exist!

Actually we're not part of the UK (though the Union Flag is often flown) so any chance of this flag:

as a country flag? It's the Flag of Independant Normandy, and as the Channel Islands are the last self-governing part of the Duchy of Normandy it seems appropriate.

Re: Country and State flags - Praefectusclassis - 08-03-2006

Well, I'll adapt: I'll accept GIF-files at a maximum size of 32*20. I'm NOT going to download them from this thread and converting them myself.
Moreover, for the 'State'-list, they can only be of the highest level below the sovereign country level (i.e. the one that is represented at the UN).

Re: Country and State flags - cacrispvs - 08-03-2006

is it possible to change the Georgia (US state) flag? We recently voted in a new one, and the symbol shown is the old one.

The new one looks like this : http://www.sos.state.ga.us/museum/image ... g_2003.jpg

thanks

Re: Country and State flags - Praefectusclassis - 08-03-2006

 Errr, ok! Since that's no addition, I'll fix that flag for free. Big Grin

Re: Country and State flags - cacrispvs - 08-03-2006

The blue triangled one is independentist, the other is the 'oficial' one.
