John, I agree in full with your argument, but that's not the point. Of course we can argue for better product, and indeed we've inspired producers to improve their products over the past years. Which is, for the main part, the reason we created the Marketplace as it is now.
The only reason for asking 'reasons' for rating items and companies however is a recent streat of purely 'personal' opinions, which we mean to 'qualify' a bit by asking for reasons behind these opinions.

Yes they are. It took a little bit for them to arrivebut they look good. Light rust on the hobnails. As to the construction I believe that they would fit into a average citizen level of wealth. Nothing extremely fancy, just good simple footwear.
