Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Martin Wallgren - 12-15-2006 Nice Kit No I´m a Delmatarian! But IRL I´m just a Swedish Youthleader... Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Flavius Promotus - 12-15-2006 Quote:I've just got my new late 2nd century tunic. I hope it is good. At least it looks so Nice work! As far as I can remember, those long continuous clavi also appear on one of the Apamaea grave stelae. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Titus Martius - 12-15-2006 Thanks Florian! Long continuous clavi are on Titus Flavius Seutes' grave stelae...I think. I hope I will complete my kit soon...I will recive Matt Lukes' newstead segmentata after Christmas, but I need 2nd century helmet and I can't decide which helmet I will buy - one of new Deepeeka's or I will ask my friend to make this one? :? Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 12-15-2006 Look forward to seeing you segmentata when you get it Martin! That is an unusual helmet! Are there more pic of it? Regards Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Titus Martius - 12-15-2006 I have only two photos, here is second. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Robert Vermaat - 12-16-2006 Quote:I have only two photos, here is second. Hey, the helmet from the Dorestad Museum in Wijk bij Duurstede, close to where I live!! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 12-16-2006 Thanks for the other shot Martin! That would be a cool helmet to have! 8) Do you have any more pics Robert? It would be nice to see more of it from other angles. The round flat decorative discs are different! Copper or brass? regards Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gallus Marinus Micarius - 12-25-2006 Here a more updated representation of my impression...from the Marching Through History Event in Los Angeles in 2006 Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Tib.
